As many of our customers, fans, and followers have seen, we have launched our newest products:
- The Billy Button - Wireless steering wheel buttons for drag racing
- The Billy Bar - Wireless button panel for off-road & everything else
This product was born out of the pain caused by broken & binding steering wheel button cables that caused lost races and even nearly caused crashes. So using what we learned from building our Digital Clutch Controller, we built wireless steering wheel buttons. We debuted the Billy Button at PRI 2023 with an overwhelming positive response.
When brainstorming packaging for The Billy Button, we realized that we could package the same technology into a more universal system for any other vehicle that doesn't need buttons on the steering wheel. That's where The Billy Bar comes in. ATV's, SxS's, Jeeps, boats, semi trucks, and many more examples can utilize The Billy Bar to trigger 4 circuits. Multiple Billy Bars can even be snapped together to trigger as many circuits as you need!
We've been so excited for these products, as many of our incredible customers have been as well. We knew we had to do something above and beyond the typical product launch. We really wanted to have fun with this and showcase all of the possibilities of the Button & Bar.
So we've created a video series called The BangShift Billy Wireless Button Saga that introduces a whole host of crazy characters, concepts, skits, and photos that we hope you'll enjoy.
BangShift Billy
The character that started it all. BangShift Billy likes stick shift drag racing, making friends, and his wife, BangShift Betty,
BangShift Betty
BangShift Betty's patient wife that puts up with all of Billy's antics. She's the apple of his eye. He'll do anything to impress her even after all these years.
BackWoods Billy
BackWoods Billy is BangShift Billy's brother. He was always way more interested in the wild outdoors than racing. You can find him off-road in his Land Rover, on his ATV, or solving some interesting problems. He's always been a few wires short of a harness, but he means well.
Adam Dorey
Adam is BangShift Billy's best friend. He's always helping Billy with his crazy ideas and talking about stick shift drag racing. Adam dreams of becoming an announcer at motorsports events across the country. He even has a podcast called That's Cool....DRINK! BangShift Billy hopes that Adam doesn't forget about him when he's famous!
Travis Foster
Travis met BangShift Billy through stick shift drag racing and have been friends ever since. He's always curious to see what kind of crazy inventions Billy is cooking up. BangShift Billy and Travis even work on a stick shift drag racing podcast together called Clutch Burners.
Young Billy
Young Billy is a reminder of everything BangShift Billy has accomplished—while also keeping him on his toes. He represents the future, pushing Billy to keep innovating in a world where technology never stands still.
